New installs now show the Reading Tools marker by default and begin with maximum hint coverage, so useful reading help is available without extra setup. Settings search now matches every word in a phrase and recognizes common controls such as API keys, target language, floating launcher, and secure backup.

Reading Tools now keeps the active section's menu stable while you move between its marker and actions. The controls stay clickable and no longer switch to a nearby section when the expanded menu overlaps page content.

When a page groups several visual paragraphs inside one DOM container, Smart Read now keeps those paragraphs separate and covers the full selected section instead of stopping early. Highlights also stay aligned with the original text when content is split across text nodes or preserved line breaks.

Smart Read no longer limits a long document to six hints just because a site renders it inside one DOM block. It preserves visual paragraph boundaries and scales candidate coverage with the readable content. Escape now closes an open hint detail first, restores focus to its source highlight, then continues through Reading Lens dismissal and hint removal without deleting the session too early.

Pages that identify their main article body through standard web metadata are now treated as one semantic reading section. This helps Reading Lens and section translation select the complete article body without pulling in surrounding navigation, feeds, or other page controls.

The new Chat section marker opens a complete Model Chat bubble beside the selected content. Switch between compact and full layouts, move or expand the bubble, and minimize and restore it without losing the active conversation.

Model Chat now uses more consistent borders, hover colors, and active states across the sidebar and floating chat. Quick actions use compact icons with tooltips, leaving more room for the conversation.

Chat History now shows the matching text around each search result and highlights the searched words. Conversations are grouped into collapsible months and days, with hover checkboxes for deleting selected chats and a separate Delete all action.

Sections with visual content can include up to eight images for supported models. Each image now has its own remove control, so you can exclude unwanted screenshots without removing the section text or the other images.

Model Chat now keeps up to 50 local conversations for each Guest or linked account. You can reopen and continue a chat from another browser tab, copy or share answers, and download a conversation as Markdown or plain text.

Long-section translation now discovers readable blocks outside the current viewport and uses the same progress and cancellation behavior as Word Hint. Cancel stops new work while keeping blocks that already finished.

The new Storage & Data page shows what the extension keeps on this browser. Clear rebuildable caches, remove account-scoped chat history, reset Learner Memory or usage records, and choose how long normal-chat images are retained. Protected account and BYOK data are never included in cleanup.

The Attach button, `@` in the composer, and the global `@` shortcut now use the same page-section picker. Captured images appear as previews before you send and as clickable thumbnails in saved conversations.

Temporary Chat gives you a one-click private session for questions you do not want in local history. The extension records only the token totals needed for Usage; it does not retain the conversation text or attached images.

Visual block targeting now handles inline multiline text, clipping boundaries and synthetic readable sections more consistently. Translation markers remain separate from reading-tool bubbles so each action selects the intended content.

Local settings and prompt libraries are now isolated by the active Guest or linked account profile. Switching or signing out resets the active state before loading the next profile.

Smart Read now analyzes longer pages in chunks, uses your local reading feedback to improve future suggestions, and gives Reading Lens a broader, more relevant pool of learning items.

Improved light theme readability, button colors, cards, shadows, badges, account panels, and quick action tiles across Sidebar and Options.

Updated Help and FAQ with plain-language guidance for Esc, removing translations, closing Writing Assistant bubbles, and running edited commands again.
